The bracelet is solid but not too heavy – that is good or bad depending on your preference – I put it on a webbing strap which I always prefer comfort wise – this one is from Elliot Brown with anti-bacterial treatment. The seconds hand does not quite hit all the markers (as per most quartz watches), but not terrible; chapter ring well aligned; date is legible, decent contrast betwen hands and dial, the numbers can blend with the dial at some angles but the hands stay clear. Case is chamfered each end underneath so a NATO strap would also be a good option if you don’t get on with bracelets. not had it long enough to judge the hardness of the PVD coating, but it has a nice texture.

 Parto dal costo (75 €) per usarlo come parametro. La cassa (41,5 mm) è robusta, in acciaio 316L , spazzolata e opaca (non essendo lucida non da quella spiacevole sensazione di plastifica come altri). Il fondello a vite è satinato e puttosto solido. Il vetro è minerale. Il movimento è basico e semplice, un Miyota 2315, comune a molti altri orologi di questa fascia; per quanto sia quindi un movimento dozzinale, è tuttavia affidabile e preciso. Il movimento è posto all’interno in un alloggiamento in plastica, che lo tutela dagli urti e dall’acqua. La corona non è a vite bensì a pressione. L’impermeabilità dichiarata è 10ATM, dunque reggerebbe una nuotata, ma io preferisco limitarmi alla doccia perchè per il mare preferisco orologi che abbiano sia il fondello che la corona avvitati. Nonostante i numeri scuri su fondo scuro, accanto ad essi sono presenti dei piccoli indicatori dello stesso colore chiarissimo delle lancette, quindi il quadrante risulta milto ben leggibile e la fluorescenza delle lancette al buio è buona. Il cinturino canvas (per anse da 22 mm) in tessuto tecnico è discreto. È composto da due strisce di ressuto cucite insieme per rinforzarlo, quindi non risulta molle e inconsistente, al contrario pare abbastanza resistente. Nel suo insieme, questo modello Field in cassa nera sembra un buon orologio per il trekking o l’utilizzo da logorio quotidiano, da usare senza preoccupazioni.
Arrivato con un blocco di sicurezza in plastica sulla corona che va tolto per farlo partire, in modo da evitare che qualcuno lo abbia già usato.
In sintesi, per un quarzo di questa fascia di prezzo credo sia un acquisto valido.
Confezione in cartone rigido in cui è presente anche un cuscinetto imbottito per riporre l’orologio.
