Purchased this product almost a month ago. At first the packing. It was a huge box wrapped by some protective layer. Inside that box was lying a scuba tank which is worth seeing. Inside that tank, was the watch. Next the watch. You will be amazed to see the beauty of it. The polished stainless steel case, the glossy crown with the Promaster emblem in it, the highly glossy outline of the index markers will mesmerize you. The hands are beautiful with the hour hand outlined by glossy stainless steel, minute hand with vibrant orange outline, and the second hand is a thin white hand with a lume at the tip. The hour & minute hands are wide enough to see the time at any lighting condition. The dial is the deep navy blue colour (my favourite colour) on which the index marks & the hands really pop out. The bezel is also of deep navy blue colour. The strap is also navy blue colour which you may change if you donot like rubber strap. Now come to the time keeping capability of the watch. Its running 2 seconds late after 24 days. That means -3 seconds per month which is highly satisfied as you have to adjust time once in a year. Next the charging. The charging is quite fast. I opened the packing at night & after some exposure to the table lamp, it started running & I was amazed to see it running when I woke up in the morning though in a 2 seconds interval. After exposing it beside the window after about 2 hours, it began to tick in 1 second interval. Now the most striking feature of this watch – lume. Its awesome. You cannot understand this feature at the daytime, but at night, even in the middle of night, after 5 hours of last exposure to light, you can clearly see the glowing hands & markers with the naked eye (generally i use specs for reading & writing but to see timing in this watch, I donot use specs, it is so prominent). I was searching such feature in a watch for a long time & it is completely fulfilled by this watch. I really love it. Now the cons. The date window is really small though you can somehow manage to see it. the day is missing. The dial is quite large for small to medium wrists. The strap is of rubber. Final verdict : Every watch in this world has some pros & cons. It has also some. But despite it’s cons, you should go for this watch without any hesitation as the appearance of the watch with deep navy blue dial & luminous hands & markers is great, the visibility of the hands is extraordinary, the lume is amazing with about -3 seconds variation per month. Its a must have watch. Addition after 7 months : it is running 8 secs late i.e., almost 1 sec per month. excellent.

Tengo muchos relojes automáticos pero andaba buscando uno de quarzo. Tenia un reloj Orient muy parecido a este similar al Mako 2. Compre este para ver si lo podĂa suplir. En calidad supero al Orient un 100%. Lo Ăşnico que no me agrado es el bezel que es de 60 clicks y no se siente como los del seiko, pero te aseguro que no es malo solo no se siente como un Seiko. El dial es de excelente calidad mejor que los skx007/009 . Las manecillas excelente. El Lume sĂşper brillante y en dos tonos. El brillo del dial es azul y el brillo del bezel es verde me gusto ese detalle de dos colores. Los acabados del case son excelentes. Otra cosa que no me agrado es que la tapa requiere una llave especial para cambiar la baterĂa, aun que este reloj tiene una baterĂa recargable asĂ que no creo que sea problema en unos años resalto que esto por que rara vez dejo que le metan mano a mis relojes por lo general y mientras se pueda yo los reparo y les doy servicio. Calculo que la vida de la baterĂa seria unos 6 años por experiencia. La fecha me gusto el lugar y el tamaño aun que para una persona que utilice lentes pueda ser algo chico. Por ultimo lo compre en oferta y es lo que mas me gusto.
19/Jun/2018 Se puede abrir la tapa trasera con llave de 2 pines aun que me decepciono ver la maquina tan pequeña que lleva dentro. Espero sea duradera. Hasta ahorita el reloj sin problemas. Queria un reloj de quarzo aunque soy mas de automático pero siempre se requieren algunos de quarzo.

Suberb watch, the quality really stands out in the Price Range. The accuracy of the watch is quiet good, which is expected for a quartz movement. been using it for almost a couple of months now and still shows the exact time compared to my mobile. You would have to go for a really expensive Automatic to get the same accuracy. The only gripe I have is that the glass is Mineral Crystal and Not Sapphire Crystal, hence more easily prone to scratches.

I love watches and I collect watches! I’m past the smart-watch phase now and wear real watches again, not mini-phones on my wrist. My newest addition is the Citizen Eco-Drive Diver, what an awesome watch! I own other Citizens and never had an issue, but this one is just stunning. Water-proof to 200 meters (that’ll do in my tub), accurate and with Eco-Drive I never have to worry about battery-life again (my apple-watch showing less than 50% battery gave me anxiety, the last thing I need is another gadget I have to charge every day). The only thing I wasn’t crazy for was the band when it was delivered. Not the band itself, it’s soft and comfortable, but unfortunately this watch has 20mm lugs – so the band was a bit thin for my taste. Here’s my work-around: I bought a quality nato-strap (mine is a Barton strap), and a 22mm nato will squeeze in the 20mm lugs no problem (see photo). It doesn’t have to be that colourful – but as a Bond-fan I picked the 007-design from the 1964 Goldfinger movie, black with green and red stripes. OK, Connery had a Rolex Submariner – but this is as close as I can do it. Awesome watch, worth every cent!

The watch is really great. It came in original packaging, including the scuba tank box and papers. Everything works as expected. Ecodrive started within a few seconds after opening the box and going very precisely for the last two weeks. Shipping took a few days longer than expected due to customs. Reason for deduction is: The watch seems new, although there were no protective stickers on it. The Citizen paper box was crushed due to no padding around it.

I have not used it for diving yet but I have no doubt it will prove well worth every rupee spent on it. Looks great. Keeps time perfectly. Solar powered – which is a divers dream. This watch is a great daily time piece.
The Eco-Drive Solar Quartz movement is durable, accurate and does not require battery changes for an extended period of time with many users stating the watch has operated smoothly for more than 10 years. The case design feels extremely robust and is backed up by ISO Certified 200m water resistance. To further add to this, it also includes a screw down crown for more security. The lume is extremely good and the watch also features a date window. Lastly, I confidently chose this time piece as my daily due to Citizen’s excellent warranty as well as the service center being only 45 mins from my home.
When it comes to appearances, I personally enjoy the look of this time piece and have very little to complain about. This piece also comes in a multitude of colours and you will definitely find one that you would enjoy wearing on your wrist!
Since this is a quartz watch, due note that there are times when the second’s hands to not line up the the markings inside the dial. Mine did not have this issue but it is something to note! I did however run into this issue with my Citizen BM8180-03E which I also purchased on Amazon and this is where Citizen’s warranty and service center location adds great value to this time piece.
I dropped off my timepiece at their service center and filled out a short form for personal information. I received email confirmation of them accepting my time piece and after 4 weeks, I received my watch back with properly lined up seconds hand!
Overall the only downsides I can think of is the strap. It definitely feels a bit stiff when you first get it but there are tricks you can find online such as using warm water and a cup to help form it to fit your wrist better!
***Note*** This Amazon sold model does not come with the strap that has the text for non decompression times and did not come in the traditional scuba bottle box.
