Tech that works just as it should — does’t need to be (that) smart or even connected — but reliable and tough as hell. And it looks good.
Took me a a couple of days to get used to the size, but, am finding the big analogue/small digital display combo just fine. Surprisingly lightweight and comfortable despite its bulk. Light it up with the backlight; amber light is OK although a bit small. Everything else on the watch works well.
Really easy to like it
Even Casio’s appalling tradition of tear-your-hair-out 200-page multilingual “user’s manual” (friggin incomprehensible), doesn’t screw up your “experience”. Luckily this G-Shock is relatively easy to figure out — just head for the picture section.
