I use this product after I apply my Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion Moist. When I use the combination of the two, I feel like the Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel gives me enough hydration! I love using this under makeup, and that was the main reason why I got it (I previously used the Clinique Dramatically Different Gel, but that shit is too expensive so I was looking for more wallet-friendly options). I have fairly dry skin that occasionally turns combination in humid/hotter weather so I feel as though this moisturizer is super versatile. However, when I use this moisturizer on my dryer days without the Hada Labo, it is not moisturizing enough.
The point?:
For combo to oily skin: This is for you!
For dryer skin: This is probably not the most moisturizing for you unless you use a moisturizing toner under it or a moisturizing lotion over it.
Overall: I’m happy with my purchase and I’ve bought this for my brother and my boyfriend. It’s a great beginner moisturizer as it’s really gentle!

Best summer moisturizer! Super lightweight and refreshing especially in extreme humidity and heat. Great for sensitive skin. Doesn’t leave a film or residue on my face and my skin really absorbs it.

I’ve always shied away from moisturizers because every single one I try makes me break out in cystic acne and blackheads. During lockdown, I decided I’d try to improve my skin since I wasn’t really going out in public. I tried a highly-rated, non-comedogenic moisturizer, and bam– cystic acne everywhere.
Then I had an idea. I sometimes get sunburn on my nose and forehead and apply aloe vera gel to soothe it. It never has broken me out, so I was wondering if aloe vera could be used as a moisturizer. I learned that it wasn’t really effective for that purpose, so I thought that maybe I could find one that uses aloe as its primary ingredient.
Lo and behold, I found this. I’ve never heard of this company and there weren’t too many reviews, so I was a bit nervous to try it, especially because my skin was in terrible shape. But it wasn’t too expensive, so I figured, why not?
I’ve only been using it for a week, so I’ll update this if things change, but right now, I’m over the moon! It’s definitely not something to use alone if your skin is dry, but it’s perfect for my oily-yet-dehydrated skin. My texture is improving, my acne is healing, and I have a nice glow all day. It hasn’t clogged my pores one bit. If everything else breaks you out, definitely give this a try!
You really need to read the directions, though, to pat it into your face. If you just slather it on like a lotion, it leaves a sticky residue and doesn’t really sink in. I haven’t tried wearing it under makeup yet, so I hope it’s okay in that regard. I noticed that it actually gives a minor pore-blurring effect, so I’m hoping it’ll let me skip primer.

I bought this to use as an aftershave moisturizer and to soothe and repair mild sun burns. I’ve used Nuskin Enhancer for this purpose for 20+ years and thought I’d try this because the Propolis is supposed to have healing properties and my Enhancer is a bit thicker and stickier after application.
This product is lighter and not sticky like Enhancer, but not as moisturizing or soothing. However, it works well enough to prevent in-grown hairs from shaving. It works as well if not better on sun burns, helping them to heal faster than other moisturizers I’ve tried, and reduces the pain a little. Don’t expect miracles though.
If you’re using it for moisture retention, Nuskin Enhancer is still better and about the same price. If you want something that doesn’t feel sticky after application, that helps prevent in-grown hairs from shaving, and/or helps heal sun burns faster, this works.
