Must have if there is are elder persons at your house. This is so user friendly, now my mother is able to use it on her own. Just loved this product. Now, we don’t need to run to the doctors everytime we need to measure the sugar level of my father and can be performed in just simple steps at home.

The glucometer is good and gives fairly accurate reading against Lab reading which I compared. Accu-chek was giving about 115 , 116 etc. and lab reading was 117. However the given free 10 test strips were mostly not working, and I had to buy fresh strips.

The battery (a watch battery) was dead on opening. Once that was fixed, we found that the reading were always 40-50 points off the freestyle meter I wear. That’s the reason I got it-as backup to check for extreme readings of the freestyle or during the 12 hr set up. Now I can’t find replacement strips. I feel completely ripped off.

This machine has an issue with battery, battery holder does not hold the battery properly, battery keeps on jumping the spot and machine stops working, how can company like accu check design such a bad product, their only focus is on selling over prized testing strips not fixing the machine..

Test strips are inserted extremely deep into the meter. Very little of the test strip is exposed. This causes you to get blood on your fingers every time during removal of the test strip. Meter reads lower than the three other meters I use for a daily average.
