DO NOT buy this product ever! It’s a scam. I got this product on great Indian festival sale during Diwali. I trusted Vega and did not open the product for 7 days (for replacement), I opened it after 2 weeks and saw it was a defective piece. I tried changing different batteries but it’s not working. It’s total waste of money, rubbish, defective piece!! Same thing happened with my sister who ordered the same product n received a defective piece too! Shame on them for selling such rubbish defective products. Total waste of money!!! If anyone wants to donate their hard earned money to such fraudsters then go ahead and purchase this rubbish product. Otherwise save your money and never look back at this trash product again!

The machine didn’t work properly…there was lekage from the battery site..and it couldn’t serve the purpose for what it is made….won’t recommend…unworthy for the price..

Plastic is of poor quality. First time I ordered it, the broad trimmer head was not attached to the body properly inside the package. A small locking part that secures the trimmer head to the body was broken. Because of this, the trimmer head would not stay on. I returned it and got another one. The replacement was fine and I was happy with it. Used it for a few months, and similar problem happened with the plastic locking mechanism on the main body. I was able to fix it with glue, so it’s still usable. Probably would not order it again if it breaks.
Update: the second trimmer broke again from the lock opposite to the already broken one after about a year while traveling, even though it was packed between clothes.
Would not recommend it, unless you just want to try and see if you can be comfortable with using it at home for first time.

Vega- Silk Trimmer can be ladies new found love during this lockdown. It’s easy to use. Can help remove unwanted hairs from eyebrows, facial hair other parts of the body. Unlike razor, that’s harsh on skin and mostly leads to ingrown hair problem. This product is gentle on skin and only cuts hair without rubbing it against skin. So not to worry about ingrown hair at all. This product is also easy on the pocket – only 699 Rs. It will be bit tricky to try on eyebrows for the first time . In order to gain confidence, first try with the wide head on your thighs. After that draw an outline with a pencil and remove excess hair from bottom line using the smallest blade against the hair growth and the broad blade on the outer side of the eyebrows. You will have to be patient during this process, you can put on a relaxing music and apply a pinch of talc on area around eyebrows and also stretch the skin for better results. If you have sensitive or acne prone skin, don’t use it on affected area. After every use sterile the attachments with warm water, few drops of dettol and a pinch of salt. Dip it for 10 mins in the solution and then air dry it before storing it. Donot wash the main body, you can always wipe it with a cloth dipped in the same solution and pat dry. If not using for a long a time, pls remove the battery and keep it. Adding my eyebrows pic after using this for the time, I was scared at first but eventually found the right way to do it. Will be able to use it in a better way the next time. Sharing my experiences so that it can be helpful for someone like me. Girls, go for it . Use with care and maintain hygiene standards and you won’t regret it.
