* Shaves well but one needs to learn a bit to get used to holding angles, etc as it has 2 blades and there is a guiding element in between to assist grabbing of non-protruding/inward growing hair. * Recharges as per the spec and holds charge well. * Easy to clean and maintain. * Comes with USA type plug. Not sure whether this is really meant for India or some outdated ones dumped from US to India. One needs an Indian plug adopter. * For 8.9K INR, it is bit pricey. But, couldn’t find cheaper ones in Amazon India. * Took more than 3 weeks to get delivered. So, it definitely came from outside of India.

Little technique & wet shaving results this much result within 5-6 minutes. Now if your wrist can act like pivoting head to follow the contours of your face then this is the perfect shaver. Also sensitive skin with dry shave can lead to read marks but why use dry if we can finish within 5 minutes with foam or gel. Just wash it with a hot water while shaver is on & it will clean itself perfectly. Super easy!!! As no one can guess that whether you used saftey razor or this shaver. It’s completely value for money. I become a fan of Braun with its cheapest line of shaver series. No doubt this is the no 1 brand in the world for electric foil shavers.

Being Truthful –
The braun series 3 3040 shaver works extremely well. It was recommended by a few people around me and it exceeds expectations. The blades can cut through every strand of hair while not damaging or cutting my skin. The build quality is really top notch and it feels comfortable to hold. The side blades can support areas where the blades are having trouble reaching or in an awkward position.
The battery life lasts through over 30 shaving “sessions”. The shaver being waterproof means you can wash it easily and don’t have to worry about damaging it. It also comes with a neat brush where you clean the compartment that the shaved hair goes into but do NOT clean the blades with the brush it will damage it.
Overall it’s a solid 10/10 for me and the way the blades are shaped and doesn’t hurt to touch makes it a really safe and well designed shaver.

Complete let down. Is not suitable for shaving of beard near throat area. There is a blackish release when you shave. Not sure if this is coming out due to some internal rubbing. This is imported and I doubt on the authenticity of the product.

I used Philips Norelco rotary shavers for years. Gradually more dissatisfied with the shave quality, even after new replacement heads, it was just not “cutting it”. I tried the Braun Series 3 Foils Shaver. My first foil shaver and wow! What a difference… I purposely went unshaved for 3 days to “stress test” the Braun . Happy to report it worked perfectly. With a beefy grip (great for us with large hands), powerful motor, and overall great design. The integral trimmer is super sharp and cuts a nice straight line. Some reviewers were critical of not having a USB C charger connection – it made no difference to me. The unit gets charged – I don’t see the issue… The design is such that you cannot use it whilst it is plugged in, presumably the manufacturer does not want folks getting electrocuted during use.. not a big deal at all. Charge duration is excellent and underscores the the overall usefulness of the device. Excellent value for money and a well designed, well functioning effective shaver – at last!
