When I say that I have used Chyavanprash from almost all Indian brands, trust me. Have been suffering lifelong immunity and cold related problems so started taking Chyavanprash from childhood only. And after shuffling to all of them, I found Baidyanath Chyavanprash to be most effective for me, especially during cold seasons. Taking it regularly makes me guard from cold and always keep my digestion up and running. I found out few years ago that most other so called chyavanprash from market do not even have 54 essential herbs whose combination is reverred by saints and medicinal experts. Many brands like Patanjali claim to have 54, but they are using workarounds and different herbs than reqd. The Baidyanath special chyavanprash actually has 56 herbs and most imp the 54 essentials reqd. On top of it, the taste and thikness hands down beats all other products on market, one teaspoon full easily contains the dosage worth 2 teaspoon of other brands like dabur. I didnot think that I would ever write a review for a Chyavanprash but trust me this is the most underrated, overlooked and essential gift of Indian Ayurveda to the world and especially during these covid times, it makes a lot of sense to use it on daily basis for all age groups.

I had placed order for Baidyanath Chavanprash “Special”, but I was supplied with Baidyanath Chavanprash “Awaleha”, which consists of much less composition than that of the former. So , I think , I have somehow been deprived in respect of quality.

Chyawanprash is renowned for its immune-boosting properties. It contains a blend of herbs, spices, and natural ingredients rich in antioxidants, vitamins (such as Vitamin C), and minerals, which help strengthen the body’s natural defense mechanisms against infections and illnesses. he herbs in Chyawanprash, such as Indian gooseberry (Amla), long pepper (Pippali), and licorice (Yashtimadhu), have expectorant and bronchodilator properties, which can help alleviate respiratory issues like cough, cold, and asthma, and promote overall respiratory health.
