I got an XL, my usual size. I am 5′ 5″. Before washing the nightgown was down to my ankles, after washing it is about 4 inches shorter. But it fits fine. I LOVE the softness of the fabric, it is warm for the winter (Seattle area), and is STRETCHY. My flannel nightgowns lump under me in bed and hurt so I have to “unlump” them. This nightgown is so comfortable. About the elastic in the wrists – I snip the threads and cut the elastic in a few places to loosen it. I just ordered a second one of these and I’ll get rid of some of my flannel nightgowns. Update – my 2nd order was the CREAM color. Only the trim is cream or gold – the fabric is WHITE, that’s ok with me but the description should be changed; I will now order the 3rd color too which is blue; my 1st order was the lavendar which is a very lovely color

This nightgown is perfect!!! It is made of good sturdy cotton that has a bit of weight to it! The gown is so very soft on the skin I will definitely buy another for next year! Very comfy and cozy!!

Soft and just the right thickness- midway between cotton jersey/t-shirt and flannel. Unfortunately the sleeves shrunk to an almost 3/4 length after the first wash. Disappointed as it’s described as pre-shrunk. Uncomfortable now due to the elastic that’s supposed to be around the wrist but actually sits much higher and the tight friction irritates my arms. Also the seam of the bib strangly sits right at nipple height so I have to wear a bra or it chafes. Nice fabric and color though.
