I use this in the morning after cleansing my face. Is not shimmery or glittery at all. Two pumps is sufficient for my whole face. Absorbs really quickly and my skin feels moisturized with or without make up. The fast absorption also helps if you’re gonna put makeup on top of it. Finished my first bottle and I love it’s light texture and gentle smell. Am repurchasing again for the second time!

I am a loyal Neutrogena customer, with my extra dry skin, the hydro boost emulsion has been a lifesaver. However, this was my first time using this serum and I was using it only in the PM. First morning I woke up with my skin more hydrated than usual, but it tingled slightly. Chalked it off to having a new product in my routine. But after the second night, I woke up with itchy skin. It started getting more and more tingly, and then it started itching vigorously, pale red spots popped up around my cheeks and neck. Not sure what went wrong, always have loved and swore by this brand, but this was a sore experience.
