I admit I have bought this twice. The first time my kids played with the first and melted it to the carpet. So heads up it gets HOT.

Now for the main review.

This lamp is great. It is compact and works amazingly on gel polish as well as polygel and building gel. There is no loud beep when you turn it on or when it flicks off, so it is great if you have young children and like doing your nails while they sleep. Only thing to warn on is it heats up fast and if you are not careful it can hurt. I like to take a 5er between hands to let it cool.

All in all I love this little lamp better than some of the very expensive professional lamps I have purchased.

It’s small and easy to use for a beginner and super portable since it’s usb powered. I’ve been using this tiny lamp a lot since I bought it. It works well when curing polygel nails or regular gel nails. I always make sure to use two cycles to fully cure my nails. With polygel I make sure to cure it longer than I do than regular gel nails. The only down side is that I can only fit four of my fingers under the lamp and generally have to cure my thumbs separately. Other than that it folds up the size of a small computer mouse which is cute and convenient.

I like this product and it’s super portable and compact. Not bad.

This uv lamp is great for drying gel nails, dries them completely after 45s – 1 min, has room to dry your hold hand. Only downside is that there is no on and off button on the lamp. Once plugged in, it only turns off when you unplug it. But this is a minor issue. Great product, very happy

For the price point, I wasn’t expecting much and I was certainly skeptical that it would even work when it arrived but it turned out to be great!
The item came in a mailing envelope and inside was the box that contained the nail dryer. The box had been clearly opened at some point and was damaged. There weren’t any instructions on or in the box, but it’s super easy to use so this wasn’t an issue; it just seemed odd. The actual dryer itself was in good-new condition so I can’t even guess what happened to the box! It comes with its own USB power cable (I can’t call it a charging cable really, ’cause the dryer doesn’t hold a charge and must be used while it is plugged in).
I tried it out immediately and it worked great. Just lightly press the top of the device and the light activates. It automatically turns off after a minute or so, which I found was enough for the curing process to finish. The polish I used was Sally Hansen Salon GEL Polish.
This device is revolutionary for me! I liked having my nails done, but never had good success with traditional air drying polish. I always manage to scrape, dent, and mess it up but with UV polish there aren’t any such issues. When I saw that personal UV dryers could be purchased in stores I immediately took to the idea and did some research, but held back on purchasing because of the high prices. This little machine is perfect for at home gel applications and it’s tiny too – making it great for when you’re travelling. I was shocked to see just how small it is!
I would like to point out that I just received it today, and this is my first time using it. Therefore, I cannot speak to it’s longevity and whether it will last the test of time and frequent use. Either way, for $15 bucks, this thing is perfect. 👌
