Bought acetone from Amazon expecting it to work like the one I got from a local shop, especially for removing paint stains. But what a letdown! It seems to have a very low concentration, nowhere near pure. This explains why the seller mentioned ‘not for medical use’ in the title – it’s just not up to the mark.
The difference was night and day compared to the acetone I previously used. The Amazon-bought acetone was utterly ineffective, not even making a dent in removing the paint stains. It’s disappointing and feels like a total waste of money. I feel cheated by the misleading impression of the product. Buyers beware – this is not the acetone solution you are looking for if you need something potent.

This acetone is of poor quality!!
I work with 3D prints and tried to melt ABS with it and failed. It is weak or diluted, or simply of poor quality.
The company hides its concentration percentage in its advertising, apparently for good reason.
I wasted whole days and I didn’t really know if the culprit was the type of plastic or the Etison, then I ordered acetone from cielo petro chemicals pvt
And I immediately got excellent results. It melted the ABS perfectly.
If you clean nail polish with it then maybe it will work, but in any case I do not recommend this product, especially in light of the fact that the seller hides his percentage of concentration in the advertisement.
