I like the idea. I like the fact that i can cut all my fake nails to the same length (I really suck at that. None of my nails are ever the same length), but I find it a bit persnickety to use. The guard that catches the cut pieces always falls off mid cut, spilling nail trimmings everywhere. I just got it, so I will let you know about durability.

I mostly used these before to remove my gel nail extensions until I started wearing longer ones that needed to be trimmed and I really got to utilize the sizer part. The longest setting is my perfect length and the blade is still as sharp as ever and cuts clean, my only issues are that the thingie on the back to catch the excess you clip off is useless, it pops off every time you use it (I just took it off), and I have to be really careful about cutting a straight line (when I’m resizing, I don’t really care when I’m just removing an old set). Other than that these work great.

Amazing product and easy to use. You need to make sure you are getting the right angle for what you want though. It doesn’t do ‘coffin’ style specifically, but does straight, round, and “well”.
I’ve used this on 4 different brands and only the sally hansen ones (surprise surprise) did not cut smoothly, but I am positive that’s due to the nails themselves.
Hugely recommended. Makes your life SO much eaiser.
