Softymo KOSE Kose SOFTYMO Deep Cleansing Oil 230ml

I ordered this oil cleanser after a YouTuber reviewed it, and when I found it on Amazon, I was initially put off by the price. I’m not a big spender, but after a few months of using it, I’m extremely happy with this product.

I use it for double cleansing step 1 (makeup and dirt removal). You literally only need 1 pump and you receive the perfect amount of product to cover your face, ears, and neck generously.

The smell is absolutely lush! It’s citric- oranges. 🍊 The smell is enough to win you over.

The product effectively removes your makeup COMPLETELY, but make sure you rub the oil into your skin properly for 3-5 minutes to reap the full benefits. I like to incorporate GANKIN massage at this stage- it’s excellent. Makes skin feel and look amazing, and toned.

It’s safe to rub on your eyes (doesn’t irritate them), but be careful- it clouds my vision every time I use it. After about 10 minutes the cloudiness vanishes. I’m not sure if that’s good, so If anyone knows, let me know! I am looking into finding a makeup remover just for my eyes now, so that I don’t need to use this cleanser on my eye makeup.

I use this product about 2-3 times a week- as I only wear makeup twice a week and I like to double cleanse before my Sunday bath. I’ve been using it for a little over two months and I’m not even 25% through the bottle!

I am very pleased with this cleanser. I have been using balm cleansers (Banila Clean It Zero and Heimish All Clean Balm) and loved how they thoroughly cleansed my skin without drying it out, but I was getting annoyed with the tub packaging and how little product they offered. So I went on the hunt for an oil cleanser, since I assumed the effect would be similar to a balm, but wouldn’t require the unnecessarily complicated application method. I wanted to make sure my skin took oil cleansers well before paying for high-end ones like Shu Uemura or DHC so I bought this after reading some good reviews.

SO glad to have found this gem that is such great value (12CAD for 230ml AND free shipping?!), gets the job done, and not to mention environmentally-friendly since they sell refills! I find one pump does the trick for my everyday light makeup (sunscreen + light bb cream/concealer + eyeliner and eyeshadow). The citrus scent is light and non-irritating for my sensitive skin and I don’t find there to be any oily residue after I double cleanse with a regular cleanser. I don’t think I will need to try the high-end oil cleansers because I am more than happy with this one. Also shipping was faster than expected which is always a pleasant experience.

Absolutely in love with this. Definitely buying again. Does not strip the skin of its moisture. The best thing for me.

È un buon prodotto, lascia la pelle pulita e non dà una sensazione di pesantezza dopo averlo sciacquato. Non do 5 stelle perché purtroppo, pur lavorando il prodotto sugli occhi (che non bruciano), lascia dei residui di mascara che non scioglie completamente pur non essendo waterproof. Ottima la quantità nella confezione, io mi trucco quasi tutti i giorni e mi dura circa un anno, l’odore per me è neutro, quasi inesistente
