I got this product last summer when I traveled to Hong Kong and China, and it was an amazing purchase. I only used the head that is already on the devise, and it worked perfect for my hair. I have long thick hair, and it dried and straightened it very nicely. I have been wanting to find a converter to be able to use it in the States.

The product works the way I expected it to work. However, I didn’t expect the plug to be a 2-pronged European plug. I know we have 220 volt lines in the house so I thought that was the usual. I’m not an electrician. But I should have purchased one that works on 120 volts. Luckily I have a set of conversion plugs that I bought years ago when I traveled for business and can use the product.
That’s why I gave this product only 3 stars. It would be most beneficial if, along with noting in parentheses that this product is for 220 volts, it would add the fact that regular household current in the U.S. is 120 volts.

It was wonderful beening able to style my hair on my vacation to Israel. The weather was cool when I traveled in February so I was happy to style and dry my hair before sightseeing. No adapter is needed in Israel. I am very happy with this purchase. Good job, Panasonic!

I bought this for my trip to Korea. It worked well, but I found it a bit weak, since I am used to a 1000 watts styler. But overall a good styler. The item was shipped with no shipping box. The label was put on the product box. Even if an item comes with a box, I believe it still should be shipped with a shipping box.
