 So very honest feedback
The product does seem really good but I had some concerns about the quantity. I made mine as per instructions of 5 tablespoons in 750ml Warm water For 2 hours ; now is this for one wash or multiple washes. I couldn’t find this information so I used it in one wash, I poured it on top of my head and then kept adding little water and it did lather very well. Maybe due to the amount of product used.
Next, when you pour 750ml on your head, it trickles down and makes a bit of a smelly mess in the shower however it’s fairly easy to clean up.
Then let’s talk about the experience of applying and massaging it in , so I couldn’t get my fingers inside my hair to reach my scalp. The product sits up top and you can keep massaging the hair. Slowly you manage to loosen few gaps and reach the scalp.
The hair lengths do feel soft as you are massaging it in. I believe you must massage for 5-10mins. It’s easy to rinse off and it comes off easily. While the hair was wet it felt slightly dry and tangled but I could easily comb through and tangles came off super easy. Once dried it did give a lovely natural sheen to my hair but as you can see in the picture my hair is still slightly frizzy. Could be the humid weather.
I’m going to try this shampoo post oiling too just to check how it works.
I’m honestly amazed how nice and natural hair feels post using this product. It might take a bit getting used to as it’s not as convenient as commercial bottle shampoos.
Overall it’s a lifestyle change and probably worth it.
I assume you are thinking of going natural because you’ve probably had some negative affects of commercial shampoo and you are probably ready for it too.

Strength with a healthy shine, manageble is my wavy hair. Herbaly smell. Have to monitor it over a long period to see signs of new growth. Mositurized scalp and minimal – no hairfall almost.
A little pre planning required for the mixing and settling down that all.

Amazing product. Will totally recommend especially for those who have long hair length.

Decent product and useful

There are different mixtures ( of herbs) in these series – this one I find the best. Mixes up creamy with hot water, easy to apply ( don’t expect foam – it might feel in the beginning as if it won’t clean the hair and scalp because of that – but the opposite is true !) and easy to remove. Immediately after rinse the hair seems very entangled, but it’s like a miracle how after drying a bit the hair almost disentangles itself – result is every single time supple, clean hair, not too silky ( without any conditioner) and not too matte either. It feels perfect. I found that there is significantly less hair loss with this. No wonder why this ancient Ayurvedic formula feels like the best care for hair.

I came to know about this product from youtube and since they mentioned it is natural I wanted to give a try.
I have oiled my hair like everytime and tried this powder shampoo. It washed of all the oil from my hair. While washing I thought my hair is become rough. But when it dried I found my hair has becoms super smooth. I did not use any conditioner or hair mask just to test this product and it has done its job 100%
If you want to use something natural and minimal products for your hair this one will be the best choice.

My experience of using this instead of conventional shampoo has been very good. I used to suffer from excessive hairfall, but after a few months of using this product, My hairfall has massively reduced. My hair also feels healthier and my chronic scalp-itching problem is also under control now. The benefits of using this have been so great that I can put up with the inconvenience of having to prepare the mixture every other day and the lengthy process of washing my hair with it.

The mixture does have a very strong smell that some people may not like. I don’t feel like it leaves the scent on my hair after I wash it off but the smell is quite strong during the process of applying it to my hair. It also has a bitter taste and can cause a burning sensation if it gets into your eyes.

It cleans dirt and oil buildup quite well. If you feel like it’s not cleaning your hair and scalp, then you are probably not using enough for your hair. Experiment with different quantities of powder and water to figure out what suits you.

The experience of using purely herbal hair cleansers such as this is very different to the experience of using conventional shampoos. You need to be prepared to change some of your habits if you want this product to work.
Firstly, I advise against following the instructions printed on the packaging. What I usually do is put 1-2 tablespoons of the powder in a small bowl and mix in some boiling water until it forms a thin paste which I leave for at least an hour before washing my hair. Washing your hair with this kind of cleanser takes a lot longer than it would with regular shampoo, especially if you have longer hair. I have neck-length hair and I have to spend a good five minutes applying the mixture and I leave it on for another 2-3 minutes before rinsing it out.

The quantity of powder that you should use for a single wash depends on your hair type and length. I feel that a single packet of Havintha hair wash powder gives me around 8-10 washes. I recommend ordering a combo pack if you want to use it on a long term basis as it’s better value for money.
