I ordered mahogany loreal hair colour ….I choose this colour because of its colour displayed on package which was…beautiful suttle reddish colour….I have black hair…..never used Hena or anything before……
I applied as per directions written in paper manual….I kept for 20 min…no change….so kept for another 10 min ….still no diffrence noticed….like shown in picture.
In my view it doesn’t change black hair colour to desired hair colour….as shown in picture.
Overall…rate zero…..total money waste for me…..nothing like they advertise.

I absolutely love L’OREAL PARIS hair dye, I have personally used the Black and MAHOGANY from LOREAL PARIS. My hair holds a shine to it, no matter how much I blow dry it, and I don’t use anything other than my shampoo and conditioner after using the hair dye! It stays soft and seems to just fall into place without much effort in styling it at all. If your hair seems to stay dry and has a lot of breakage, after your routine dye job, and you never get any complements on how beautiful and shinny your hair is, then I am talking to you for sure, but I am also talking to anyone who prefers to dye your hair at home, when I say that I would recommend brand 100% both for Men and women. And not only does it do wonders for my hair, but it is also super price efficient and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like some other brands, and for under Rs 600 you can have great looking, cool and shinny hair like me😃

This product really brightened my lock down mood and gave me a Parlour Perfect Look. The mahogany colour gave my hair the perfect reddish brown shade I wanted! The colour tube and developer bottle have the perfect proportions already so no measuring is required and the box contains gloves and the finishing jelly which can also be used as a lush conditioner after shampooing. As I have long thick hair, I had to order 2 boxes of the product, mix 2 sets of developer and colour tubes and then apply them to my hair. I used a mixing bowl, comb and brush to apply the colour onto my hair, rather than directly from the bottle. The product has no smell in fact it gives off a wonderful fragrance, doesn’t burn one’s scalp and makes the hair soft after washing it off. Though the instructions say the colour should be put on for 20 minutes, I left it on for about 35-45 minutes as I have grey roots and wanted a darker, richer colour. Remember to keep shampooing until the water runs clear and towel dry your hair with a dark towel and then use a hairdryer to dry your hair completely, just in case, to avoid any possibility of staining due to colour left back in your hair. Wash you hair every time with L’Oreal’s Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner (also available on Amazon), because harsher shampoos will strip the hair of all the colour too fast, too soon. Need root touch up again .
Also this particular colour – mahagony, gives out colour upto several washes . Unlike other shades in the same brand, this colour leaves stains on pillow cases . That doesn’t happen with other shades in this brand .
