I have eczema in the interdigital folds of both my hands since the last 5 months that dry out and start bleeding. I have sensitive skin.Applying several dermatologist recommended moisturizers didn’t help so I resorted to find something that would give me relief from the severe itching and burning. Aveeno dermexa was a godsend. It relieved the itching, lightened the dark patches and my fingers stopped cutting and bleeding with regular use at night. It takes time to show the results depending on your situation but it helped me when nothing else could. So I would definitely recommend it for people especially if you are suffering from extremely dry skin and eczema. The price is on the higher side but if other moisturizers didn’t work for you then this is totally worth the investment.

As a lifelong eczema sufferer, and having all the side effects that come with it (dryness, flaking, itchiness) this cream has helped me no end. I have probably spent a fortune on different creams over the years, in the hope that it will help my skin. I was recommended Aveeno by my dermatologist and I have never looked back. The cream actually does what it says on the packaging. It moisturises without leaving a greasy film and therefore the dryness and associated itching has gone. I can highly recommend the other products too. This cream in particular is quite thick, so it’s great if your skin is very dry, but if you’re looking for something a little lighter, then the cream or body lotion is just as effective. It is possibly a little pricey to some, but it lasts a long time as you do not need to apply much, and to me, it’s worth every penny.

I LOVE this product. I have dry skin which becomes extremely drier during the winters. I discovered this product when i was suffering from contact dermatitis (my skinn was so dry that normal mositurisers failed to get rid of the dryness) during covid and could not go to the dermatologist. I did my research wanting to find a product that had zero irritants and would give me some relief from the dryness. This product saved me. Its extremely thick and calmed my skin immediately. It formed a layer over my skin which is what i needed. It did not break me out. It has no fragrance and actually smells like plain oats ( which is one of their major ingredients). Its not unpleasant and its not as if the frangrance lasts for you to be put off but its not a product for sensorial experience. Its a product to save your skin and it delivers it. Its 200gms and lasts for a long time and the price is so much cheaper than a lot of normal moisturizers such as neutrogena hydro boost. It has great packaging completely spill proof. I hoard this product like no one’s business as it often goes out of stock!!

Emollients help soothe the skin and provide relief from itching and dryness. Their use can prevent conditions like eczema ‘flaring up’. A well hydrated skin can do its job more effectively, reduce itching and prevent infections. For my daughter this proved to best Emollient cream so far and reduced the need for topical corticosteroids usage after few days itself. For extreme dry skins worth of trying out this emollient cream and check whethet this suits your skin type.

I have sensitive, oily skin, which gets dry and flaky in winter (cold temps & harsh wind are an everyday pleasure from October – April where I live) and was looking for a moisturizer that would repair the skin barrier, calm the skin and wouldn’t feel heavy (breaking me out). I have had good experience with oat extract before as a bath additive and gave this cream a try. It is fantastic: nourishing, calming, moisturizes, absorbs nicely, doesn’t feel heavy and works well under makeup. I use it on my face and body. It is also a great value – 200ml for 16€! Your regular cream would have the same price tag for a 50ml tube/jar. Would definitely recommend and will repurchase again for winter months.

Aveeno products are generally reviewed as being excellent for dry skin issues. For good reason. Their triple oat based formulations with Ceramides are extremely beneficial for dry/ very dry/ sensitive and damaged/ affected skin. This product is a higher octave of the Skin Relief Lotion. Being a cream it is fundamentally richer than a lotion. These products immediately help with itching issues, that may not be of the highest severity, upto and exceeding 95% relief on the first and second applications itself. That in itself is irreplaceable because it is itching that worsens the condition. It appears very likely that the product will alleviate and reverse corticosteroid induced pigmentation, dryness and minimal levels of atrophy. It appears equally likely that the barrier function of impacted skin may be aided greatly or even completely restored. In sum, if the dry/ impacted/ sensitive skin problems are not severe but taking a toll on your quality of life nonetheless, this product from Aveeno and others discussed in this review are likely to be an excellent choice. Domestic cocoa butter formulations help but clog up the pores and cause irritation and itching. Not this product- despite being a thick, rich cream it only soothes and does not clog up the pores. Aveeno products are highly recommended for resolution of mild to moderate dry/ impacted skin irritants.

La mejora en la textura de mi piel es notable, y el enrojecimiento y la irritación han disminuido significativamente.

The skin around my eyes started drying and peeling sometime last year. Moreover, I have a very dry skin. After researching a lot, I realised that they were the early signs of eczema. Hence, I started looking into different creams. I used Episoft. It wasn’t quite effective. Then I found Aveeno. So, I bought it even though it is expensive. And voilà! All the signs of eczema disappeared in a few applications. The only problem I was facing was that my makeup was looking patchy if I would wear my makeup over this cream. Later on, I found out that, if I would leave the cream to soak into my skin at least for 10 minutes before applying my makeup, there would not be any issues. And it has been more than a year since I have been using Aveeno and I am not having any issues.
One of my colleagues had eczema. I recommended Aveeno to her. And even her eczema has disappeared.
P. S. Not everything works for everybody. Some people might not see any results. The reasons could be the skin type, the diet, weather and lifestyle. Fortunately, it worked for me.

If you have dry skin, you know the skin we hate to look at! Then this is the stuff!! I never had dry skin in my life until medication took care of that. Uggg Did some research, tried a whole bunch of stuff that wasn’t helping me accomplish anything other than spending money on products that did nothing to help. And then I found this Avenno Dermaxa. I think I heard a gospel choir singing… lol. So I started using it immediately, in the morning and again at night before bedtime. In about 2 weeks my skin changed its mind and decided to behave! Is it back to the perfectly beautiful skin I used to have, no, but as close to perfect as possible while still on this chemotherapy. The difference is like night and day! Emollient is exactly what your skin needs, a great protective layer to keep the moisture in and on your skin. It is a little expensive however it’s a good size! And you only need less than a dime size in your hand for your face. A little gozy very very long way with this product. I suspect that this one tube will probably last me 6 months! If you’ve been hesitant to try this, don’t be. Give it a try and see if you like it and how it helps. if you don’t like it you can return it No harm no foul. And remember emollients are different than moisturizers. Emollients are moisture barriers I’ll keep your skin soft and supple. Can’t tell you how happy I am I found this stuf. Will I buy it again when I run out, that’s a hell yeah 👍.
