Been wanting to buy it for a long time. No 10 at 1500 was the most reasonable … all others are 2700 plus. The scent is mild … lather is awesome little goes a long way and lasts enough for two or even three passes. Leaves skin soft and supple … This pack will last a very long time. Totally worth the price. Will buy again.

As far as comfortable shaving goes, this is as good as it gets. This is for those who prefer comfort and assurance over effective pricing. Even from an economic efficiency perspective, the amount in the tub is good enough to last for a number of months, if not a year or so. It gives a gentle and comfortable shave especially with a traditional double-edged razor (I am not a fan of modern razors, frankly). It produces a relaxed post-shave feel as if you were in an old-fashioned barber shop, which won me over. Zero irritation, zero burns. Lathering is excellent if not exceptional, if you know actually how to lather from a cream. Use your brush with fair amounts of moistening and you get beautiful and smooth foam that allows the razor to just glide gently, and voila! a great experience is felt every time.
The fragrance is more a waft than a burst. It is mellow lime and lingers as long as you are shaving, and merges smoothly with any aftershave lotion, balm or gel you use. It is manly, not macho; delicate not effeminate. If you like doing things the old way (the best way!), this is it, mate. Just enjoy it.
