I purchased these Bata shoes from Amazon on the 18th of February 2023, and I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product. It’s been just over a month since I received them, and today, on the 25th of March, the shoes are already falling apart.
As a once reputable brand, I had high expectations for the durability and longevity of Bata shoes. However, my experience with this particular pair has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within a few weeks of moderate use, the stitching began to unravel, and the soles started to detach from the upper. I cannot believe that a brand like Bata could produce such a poorly made product that barely lasts a month.
I am writing this review as a warning to other potential customers who may be considering purchasing these shoes. Please save your money and look elsewhere for your footwear needs. The rapid decline in quality is not worth the frustration and disappointment that comes with having to replace the shoes so soon after purchase.
To say I’m disheartened by my experience with Bata shoes would be an understatement. I hope my negative experience can help others avoid making the same mistake. It’s time for me to find a new brand that prioritizes quality and durability, as Bata has clearly lost its way.

Bata is our household name since many decades. They are made in India shoe and they are known for their quality leather, build quality and overall durability. They dont spend anything in advertisement and for many decades they pass on that benefit to us the customer with their awesome product quality under affordable pricing.
This is a simple formal shoe for office use or formal party wear. Remember, this is their entry level offering and when comparing to anything else, compare under same category of products.
Leather quality at this price point is excellent & built quality is very good. However, pointy nose design may make this shoe feel uncomfortable for long walks or regular use for any one with fat toe.
This shoe has no extra layer of under feet protection. If you feel the need of that, you may need to order those extra shoe jel thing to place inside the sole. Bata should consider making some models with soft under feet inside sole, new generation look for that feature.
Rebook / Puma / Addidas No.8 will need Bata No.7. Keep that in mind, go one size lower.
Overall happy with the purchase, as always, really happy to see brands like Bata with local production available in Amazon. Men of my family are happy customers of bata since many generations.
Amazon return / replace policy is excellent, it is a satisfying and headache free purchase experience with Amazon.
