Nice and light for oily skin but not too drying either.

I’m blessed with combination skin so finding a moisturizer that works without making my face an oily mess is a whole task. I typically use The Ordinary NMF line and it works alright. Not the best, but better than other products I’ve tried. I decided to give this moisturizer a chance because it had a similar vibe at a slightly lower cost and I’m so happy I did!

Before I continue, I will say this is not a lightweight moisturizer. During application, it feels like it might be, but it stays on the skin rather than absorbing. It’s also slightly stick to touch hours after application. I applied it last night after my shower and I can still feel it on my skin this morning. It doesn’t feel bad or gross. It’s just very much “there” and I think that’s actually been key to it working for me. Usually, my skin is dry within a couple of hours of applying moisturizer so for the dry skin to still be gone 10 hours later is insane. Despite feeling the moisturizer on my skin, my face doesn’t *look* oily so that’s awesome.

As for breakouts, my skin is usually aggressively quick to react to moisturizers and there are no signs of a potential break out so far. I’ll update this review if that changes!

As someone with oily skin, I was hopeful that the Minimalist Vitamin B5 Moisturizer would be a perfect addition to my skincare routine. Unfortunately, my experience with this product fell short of expectations.

Despite its claim of being lightweight, I found that the moisturizer left my skin feeling uncomfortably sticky after a short period of use. This contradicted the promise of a lightweight formula. Moreover, the tube states that it’s suitable for oily/combination skin, but in reality, it seemed better suited for drier skin types.

While the product may work well for those with different skin types, I would caution individuals with oily skin against using it. It’s important for skincare companies to accurately label their products to prevent disappointment and discomfort for consumers.

I always thought that moisturiser only makes your skin sticky specially for oily skin .. that due because of the past experiences with several moisturisers .. but after using this one .. my skin is completely different .. i am obsessed with this moisturiser ..it controls excess oily as well all keeps my skin moisturised .. #in love with the product .

I received this cream about 2 weeks ago and so far I can say it works, BUT it’s not summer yet lol I have oily skin, but it can be easily controlled in ther cooler seasons. The real test is during summertime. All in all, my face feels nice and smooth once I apply it, and it controls my oil production for a good amount of the day.

Great price and does what it’s supposed to do.
I don’t like wearing it as my daily cause it does feel a little thick, and I go a little oily by lunch time. But as an evening moisturiser before bed it feels really nice and enriching
