I have a very fair English complexion, & was worried that even the lighter of these 2 shades (Soft Pink) might be too dark for me, but it isn’t. I ordered the Soft Pink shade, & although it looks deep rosy pink in it’s container, it isn’t dark at all, & doesn’t overwhelm my foundation. I use it over both Maybelline ‘Fair Porcelain’ foundation, and L’Oreal ‘Rose Porcelain’ foundation, and it looks lovely. So I think it would adapt really well for darker skin, too. I use various face powders, including Clarins, Lancôme, Coty, & Boots No. 7, which are all good. Whilst this powder isn’t as fine as Clarins or Coty, it is a good quality powder, with a good texture, & very good for the price. It has a slight, pleasant smell, does not ‘cake’, and gives light coverage. According to box, it’s made by Unilever in India. I do recommend this face powder, & would certainly buy it again.

Ich liebe Lakme Produkte, leider sind sie etwas schwierig zu bekommen. Hier habe ich das Rosenpuder von Lakme gekauft. Zuerst ist es etwas hell auf der Haut, passt sich aber schnell dem Hautton an. Das tolle bei dem Puder ist, das es nicht die Fältchen unter der Augen vertieft. Leider hatte ich das Problem oft bei Make up, Conditioner und Puder von anderen Firmen. Der faszinierende Nebeneffekt des Puders ist, das es nach Rose duftet und in keinster Weise chemisch. Der Duft des Puders ist genau der gleiche wie das Rosenhydrolat welches ich benutze und das ist sehr hochwertig. Das Puder ist für empfindliche Haut geeignet, es verfeinert das Hautbild, glättet und duftet nach Rose. Wieder mal ein wundervolles Produkt von Lakme.

Gorgeous on pale skin, like mine. Am mostly without make-up actually these days – am making this year a big break and so not wearing much – but recently we went out and I put on a primer, foundation and then some of this. It gave me a real glow. I recommend you to just touch the brush into this, tap the excess off into the container and then sweep in the lightest of circles all over your forehead and cheeks. Love it, love it. And it smells of my garden – which is full of roses right now. 🙂
