This is a beautiful example or an oriental rose fragrance. It is not a simple rose perfume. Big beautiful roses, fresh dewy roses, lemony roses & soft powdery roses. There is a sweetness here but it’s not candy – just a lovely sweet vanilla & brown sugar note. I get sandalwood & cinnamon with orange & then jasmine & orange blossoms.
I love that it never goes musty or musky or dirty. It stays a pretty, clean, natural rose. I think this would be a beautiful fragrance for a bride. But I also think it’s great for date night or when you are feeling feminine.
Strangely, it makes me want to lick my arm. I’m not usually a fan of gourmand fragrance but you could argue this is gourmand – kind of like a subtle spice cake with rose water added.
This has a big sillage – one spritz on my arm filled the room & I left a trail of scent thru the house. My husband can smell it in his office down the hall. Yes, this could be headache inducing so don’t over spray. Not everyone wants to smell your perfume. If you can’t smell this or you think it is very light, you need to have a COVID test. This is a VERY intense fragrance.
It lasts all day & I can still smell rose with patchouli the next day (I could do without the patchouli – overdone). This really lasts on clothing. I could still smell it on a t-shirt after washing & drying.
This is lovely if you like rose scents. It is an updated rose fragrance that is very well done. No, this does not smell old fashioned unless your idea of old fashioned is a rose fragrance.

Very nice fragrance. It lingers in the air for a while. I’d recommend it for a mother’s day gift or a birthday or Christmas gift for women of a certain age.

Seriously on the fence. When I read the description as roses, jasmine, orange blossom, and patchouli, I expected more of a floral play. You know something deep and sweet, with perhaps the orange blossom for sharpness and the patchouli for depth. Unfortunately everything is lost to the patchouli. Literally. I can not detect the jasmine or orange blossom at all. If you wanted a patchouli musk, look no further!
It smells like an antique store or an elderly lady’s wardrobe. Maybe even a psychic shop. It has the heaviness of age with the rose coming through every so often; rarely and faintly, but I can just make it out. It is such a heavy scent, though.
So I’m on the fence. On one hand it smells like old lady (no offense to the older generation, but I’m mid thirties and this is what old ladies smelled like while I was growing up), on the other hand I think if it wasn’t so dang strong, it would be a good scent. Even more unfortunately, this is an eau de parfum, which means it’s made with higher quality ingredients that helps it last longer and boost the scent strength. I think this one would have been better suited as a toilette.
