I being the huge fan of Casio, now own five different models of Casio, two G-Shocks, one edifice and two from youth series. I was looking for this particular model Casio DWGMW-B5000D-1DR (G842) since its launch worldwide two years back on 35th anniversary of Casio. The prices were exhorbitant, anything starting from $500 -$1000. The availability was also very scanty. The non-availability made me more curious and hungry to buy it.
Few days back I saw the watch on Amazon India website with a price tag of 29995 and no discounts. I waited for the sale to commence and even I forgot to buy this. Luckily on 29th Sept. night, I recalled and checked the price. To my wonder the price was Rs.22495 and only one last piece left. I immediately started the procedure to buy this watch with a pounding heart. I was very lucky to buy this watch at an effective price of 19445. I got 2000 instant discount through by credit card and 1000 cash back in my amazon pay account. Wow, that was a loot. A total saving of 10550.

Great. Thanks to Amazon sale. Now again the price is Rs.29995 today on 2nd of Oct., 2019 and the standard discount of Rs.2000, when bought with credit card.

The watch is rock solid, that every fan of Casio knows. The looks are stunning. The watch is a collector’s item, with so many positive reviews worldwide and nothing more to be said. No comparison with smart watches, its breed apart. One can really go mad to have this piece. I will really call, all the people who bought this watch during the annual sale through Amazon, the real lucky ones. You can buy this watch without any second thought as the prices are very high worldwide as compared to India.

The watch is for life time, with Bluetooth connectivity and majority of the operation can be done through the Casio G-Shock mobile app. This watch is tough solar module, so no changing of the batteries ever. This watch has a sync with atomic watch setup which is sadly not available in India, but will work well, when you will go to US, UK, Japan, Europe or China. This watch is original made in Japan.

Pros: The name Casio is enough, just buy it to feel it.
Cons: Don’t think of that.

This is an excellent collectible item especially for the G-SHOCK square watch fans. Excellent finishes, great accuracy and very strong.It’s made in Japan model. Powered by tough solar and can be connected to cell phone via
Bluetooth. I own gw-5000 which was 25 year anniversary watch of G-SHOCK square and this 35 year anniversary watch. The watch never stops ,always shows accurate time and is excellent.

Received early than expected..highly satisfied with the product.
