I’ve owned several large Edifice watches over the years, so this slimmer model with its striking red-and-black dial is a refreshing change. The 49mm lug-to-lug size is fairly standard, though it feels slightly smaller than my usual pieces. I wasn’t aware that it needed to be exposed to sunlight for charging when I received it, but I’ve since learned that. This is also my first watch featuring sapphire crystal glass, which I’m really excited about. The strap and clasp feel more refined and polished compared to other Edifice models. A beautiful find at a bargain price!” ⌚🌞✨

Never buy this, I’m facing a very big issue with the store, Almost 4 months went twice for service and got the message from store ‘ BOOKING REFERENCE NO: **XCT2309073**
* The given Casio EQB-1000XD-1A is not possible to repair, the brand offered a new Watch ( New Model is GM-B2100D-1A)
So pls don’t buy this model. Still I’m waiting for replacement.

The watch arrived with(obviously) dead battery, as was packed more than an year ago, and I was frustrated that even after charging it for many hours under direct sunlight no movement. But finally it came to life. Conclusion is keep it under strong sunlight(possibly in a window so that it doesn’t becomes too hot) for 2 days before doing anything.
One the watch was sufficiently charged, it worked nicely. On first connection with phone it set up itself automatically, took 5 mins.
One thing I noted, opposed to what has been advertised, it’s too slow to charge and need strong sunlight to get some meaningful battery charge.
If you keep playing with it battery depletes quickly.
The watch looks good, not too big and light weight.
Not as sporty as looks in the pics but more of a dress watch.
Issue with red lattering and markers, need good light to see them. Not visible if light is low.
What I have mixed feeling about, it’s buid quality is not as good as other watches in its price class(bracelet is not solid but pressed sheet metal-feels cheap) may be all the price goes in the technology, on the other hand technically it’s only good for time sync and alarm, and lower watches can do much more. So even though I bought it at 30% discount I don’t know where to put it – as a tech watch or a great built/looks watch and not sure about it’s value.
