I bought this at the price of 12k and returned it the very same day. Looks like a cheap quality watch. The dial is small. It is a copy of a retrograde chess watch made by Earnshaw. The problem with Titan is that it has been fooling India for a long time. They have cheap quality parts which is meant for the mass audience and then they charge a bomb for it. People buy it considering it’s an Indian brand. In 12k you can get a good quality Citizen or Fossil watch.
About the Watch:
1. Small dial: It is not 48mm in diameter, the information is wrong.
2. Dial: It is different than all the watches you have ever seen but it is made up of plastic not marble. I can confirm it is 100% made of plastic. Retrograde dial which is also copied, nothing innovative. Colour is also not white, it is dull white such that it looks like a marble.
3. Bezel: The Bezel is a dull copper color, I mean this is a complete turn-off. They could have used shiny gold but don’t know why a dull copper.
4. Size of the numbers: Since the watch size is small so the numbers written are also small, you wont be able to look at time in a sec, you have to keep on string at the minutes hand to analyse what is the time exactly.
If you have to pay 12k for this watch, don’t waste your money. Buy a TIMEX, Fossil, Seiko or a Citizen. The parts of Titan are very cheap and this watch doesn’t do justice to the price you pay. I would not spend more than 2500 on it.
