What a stunning timepiece. I have owned many G Shock watches over the years. I purchased my first in Japan in the late 1980’s or early 1990′. I had not seen them in the US yet. The first time I ever saw one was in a Japanese high end department store and purchased it on the spot. Since then I have always owned at least 2 at a time (I have 4 right now that I wear). I like to have one that is “dressy” and one that is fun. This has become my new “dressy” G-Shock.
This watch has a stunning black low profile look which to me makes it “dressy.” The hands and hour markers are silver but they do not stand out, it really looks all black.
The light a stunning golden color (a first for me on a G-Shock) but does not do a great job. It is difficult reading the analog time in the dark with the light and the digital display is sadly non-existent in the dark.
I really didn’t buy this watch for the functions, I was looking for a big, good looking G-Shock and this is it. That said it has the standard alarm, timer, stopwatch, countdown timer, and 24 hour time which is nice.
All in all if you are looking for a good looking, big G-Shock you can wear in shorts, jeans and a t-shirt or proudly with a business suit, or to a wedding or any semi-formal event this watch works well and looks good.

Awesome watch.. Feels premium and goes with anything. Its also got radium on hands and the backlit is better then other gshocks. Wear white shirt and this watch will rock the evening. Its the most sophisticated looking watch in gshock category under 12k.
The best in class delivery by Amazon. Delivered it in 3 days flat even on standard delivery. There was no cushioning in the box but who cares its a gshock it doesn’t need cushioning.

The watch goes with practically any outfit, it’s really tough and built to last. You don’t have to worry about replacing the cell for even as long as 2 or 3 years.
It comes with many handy features for its price.

Before I placed the order I have seen some reviews that people got fake GSHOCK watches which look identical from orginal one.. In my city there is a Casio official store but it was not opened for quite few weeks due to lockdown.. Anyway I got the product today and I have checked the serial no on the watch and on the warrenty card, also I registered my product for 6 months extended warrenty and found my watch is a genuine one.. The digital display on this watch is ok but its not visible in everyday situations, I have to look carefully for a sec to identify what time is mentioned there.. I recommend you to buy this (GA-110-1A) model instead of (GA-110-1BDR) coz the digital display on this model is easy to see, make sure you choose the right colour scheme before buying this watch otherwise you feel some difficulty while reading the time as i mentioned..

Finally got time to review this watch after 2.5 years of ownership. I guess it is a correct time to review about the durability of the watch. Although I got it from another marketplace but thought of writing about it here.
G-Shock is regarded as one of the toughest and unbeatablewatch for youth and teens and I agree to it. The design of this watch is just phenomenal and its working too. There are few niggles to tackle as soon as you unbox it for the first time such as setting the correct time and to learn about the watch. Giving its manual a one read before touching it makes our task alot easier.
Now comes the Cons part. The first problem is with the resin band. Band gets many scratch marks which looks a bit of ugly when seen in light. Mineral glass is hard to look after for as it also gets scratched easily during normal day to day activities. I replaced the batteries about a month ago and the watch is working flawlessly.
I can assure that the watch would be able to live for more than 5 years.

As mentioned in other reviews back light is not quite helpful in night time. So that’s only cons if it affects your purpose. otherwise this is steal product for the price.

El reloj visualmente está excelente,de hecho yo siempre había sido de comprar los cien eco pero este me gustó x la carcaza y la caratula y decidí comprarlo, la verdad estoy muy contento….. 100% recomendable, solo un detalle con la luz de la caratula, no es muy potente…. x lo que a veces no puedes ver los números en la noche solo al usar la luz, pero x todo lo demás por mi ok…
